The Los Angeles Loyolan and ROAR studios proudly present “Generations of Activism” -- a three-part documentary series on student activism and social justice at Loyola Marymount University as experienced by three generations: Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials.

Part one of this three-part series explores how Baby Boomers in the late ’60s and ’70s at LMU react to the Farm Workers’ Movement, rally against the war in Vietnam and create a Black Student Union.

In part two of this three-part series, Generation X arrives on campus in a period of cultural conservatism. But just as the activist spirit seems in decline, the Rodney King verdict and the resulting violence only a few miles from campus redefine the LMU experience for students, faculty and staff.
